Frank Schroeder

Principal & Founder

Frank C. Schroeder founded Campus2Career Transition Services as a new business service offering to respond to the demand for specific hands on assistance for career consulting services. Frank also maintains his position as Principal and Co-founder of Brown Schroeder & Associates, Inc. Prior to Brown Schroeder & Associates, Inc. Frank worked as a top-level executive for a variety of corporations in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, including Drake Beam Morin, A.T. Kearney Executive Search, Waste Management International and Alcoa.

Frank has more than 30 years of experience providing executive search and human-resources capital planning, as well as general management, leadership coaching and organizational development for some of the largest companies in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.

Frank was previously the president of European operations for Drake Beam Morin Career Services in Paris. While at DBM, he successfully directed executive coaching, workforce improvement and outplacement operations in 26 countries throughout Western, Central and Eastern Europe.

Before DBM, Frank held several executive leadership roles at A.T. Kearney Executive Search, including Managing Director of the Global Technology Practice in Chicago and Redwood Shores, Calif., Managing Director of European operations and Managing Director of the United Kingdom operations.

At Waste Management International, Frank worked from the company’s Lausanne, Switzerland and London offices, where he was in charge of acquisitions throughout Europe. Frank also assisted in activities in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. He also served as country manager of Waste Management Italy, Waste Management International’s largest European operation.

Earlier in his career, Frank rose through the ranks at industry giant Alcoa. Working in both U.S. and international markets, his career at Alcoa culminated in his role as General Manager of Field Sales and Distribution for the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regional operations, headquartered in Lausanne.

Frank is active in numerous civic and charitable institutions, and he speaks fluent French and is versed in Italian. He is a graduate of the Lawrenceville School and has been an active alumnus. He earned a B.A degree in economics from Hobart College in Geneva, N.Y. and an MBA with concentrations in organizational behavior and international business from the University of Illinois. He has also attended executive development courses at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne.

Richard E. Augspurger

Senior Consultant

Dick Augspurger is Executive Advisor with Campus2Career Transition Services. He brings more than 40 years of hands-on counseling, consulting, and training experience to the firm.

During his career Dick has worked with Senior Executives in the global workplace with strong emphasis on Chicagoland and the greater Midwest. He has worked with over 5,500 entry-level and senior executives in Global Fortune 1,000 firms.

Dick has an extensive background in career transition, human resource management, executive coaching, executive assessment, career management, life and retirement planning, conflict resolution and organizational development.

As an Executive Coach, Dick has provided training for “roll-outs” of new programs in Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, Evaluating High Potentials, Change Management, Life Planning, as well as Coaching Entrepreneurs.

Dick has lectured extensively and has taught 13 college and graduate-level courses on a broad range of topics related to vocational choice, career assessment, listening, balancing work and family life, post-traumatic stress, leadership in virtual teams, and coping with the new mental health stressors of the workplace.

During college, he lived with Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and Christian families in Sri Lanka on a 4-H cultural exchange. He is married to Rosamond Olmsted, is the father of two sons, and lives in the Chicagoland area. He has four grandchildren.

Dick completed his B. Sc. from Ohio State University and was awarded his Ph. D. in Psychology, Anthropology, Psychometrics & Religion from Northwestern University in 1977. His dissertation topic was Healthy Resolution of Grief.

Dick was an All American Lacrosse Midfielder at Ohio State and was awarded a Top Secret Security Clearance for Refugee Resettlement work in Laos/SE Asia. Today, he enjoys servicing clients and teams, internet research, walking at Sedgebrook and the Des Plaines River Trail, cooking and writing.

Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson

Strategic Leadership Development Coach

Jennifer Johnson is a Strategic Leadership Development Coach, full faculty and admissions board member at the University of Minnesota, and SVP/executive creative director, yet she still considers herself to be a student. She believes that constantly learning is critical to identifying opportunities to grow and contribute. And this philosophy has led Jennifer to evolve her own career into new areas.

Jennifer is a college and career coach. She became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and completed neuro-transformational coaching (CNTC), when she realized that her University of Minnesota students were graduating without a solid post graduation plan. Jennifer uses her coaching and consulting skills to help students before, during and after college find their academic and career path. The evolution of Jennifer’s path from advertising business leader to faculty member to coach brings a new opportunity to students and professionals. Jennifer believes that every single person brings their own story to their path. And it is up to someone like her to help them realize their own success.

Kendall Abbey

Certified Well-Being Coach

 Kendall Abbey is the founder of Coaching by Kendall, a well-being coaching practice dedicated to helping millennials thrive personally and professionally. In addition, she has coached small and midsized business owners at Vistage, college students at Braven, and senior leaders at Rotary International. At Rotary, she also served as a fundraising consultant and trainer. Prior to Rotary, she worked as an independent ESL teacher in Buenos Aires.

Kendall is a lifelong learner committed to constant growth. She has a M.A. in Human and Organization Development from DePaul University, a BA in Anthropology from the College of Wooster, and a professional life coach certification (CTACC) .

She has certifications in positive psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, diversity and inclusion from Cornell University, and numerous others in organizational development, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and adult learning.

Kendall is a C2C alumna. She worked with Frank, Tom, and Dick to find her footing after returning from abroad. The team helped her build her self-awareness, confidence, and approach to the job search. With their help, she was able to secure a rewarding position at Rotary which led her to her dream job: coaching.

Tom Cath

Director of the Career Center at Valparaiso University

Tom Cath, the Director of the Career Center at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, assists graduate and undergraduate students and alumni with career exploration, networking, job searching, resume and cover letter preparation, interviewing skills and applying to graduate/professional school.

Prior to joining Valpo, Tom led the Career Center at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Tom has extensive experience in advising and working with young adults who possess a variety of occupational interests, and has developed a broad network of employers with whom he has worked over the years.

Tom spent the first five years of his career in Chicago in commercial banking with Continental Illinois National Bank and Standard Chartered Bank, but he has been a coach of one sort or another for much of his career; at DePauw he was the Men’s Tennis Coach for twenty-four years. During that time, his teams won the conference championship 15 times and were nationally ranked each year. Tom was named the NCAA Division III Coach of the Year in 2005 and 1995, and received numerous Regional and Conference Coach of the Year honors.

Tom graduated from DePauw in 1976 with a BA in Economics. He graduated in 1978 with an M.I.M. from The Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona. Tom and his wife, Allison, live in Valparaiso and have three sons.

Woody Hancock

Managing Director and Founder of Career Solutions
F. Woodson (Woody) Hancock is Managing Director and Founder of Career Solutions, a boutique career counseling firm specializing in financial services. Prior to entering the counseling field, Woody spent 25 years in investment banking, where he worked in corporate advisory services, debt and equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring with The First Boston Corporation (a predecessor of Credit Suisse), Kidder, Peabody & Co., UBS and finally his own firm.

He holds a B.A. degree in History from The Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from Harvard. In addition he is a member of the Alumni Interviewers’ Board of Harvard University, a fund-raiser for Harvard, a member of The Harvard Business School Club of New York and a former Board member of The Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA).

Terry Kozlowski

Certified Interview Coach

Terry Kozlowski, Certified Interview Coach, supports Campus2Career clients to interview effectively. She helps them identify and tell engaging stories, avoid offer-killing mistakes and prove themselves as the best candidate to hire.

C2C clients have the opportunity to see themselves on HD-TV at their in-person mock interview with a coaching session. Clients have also appreciated the audio recording that Terry provides of their telephone screening interview practice session.

Terry shares her unique interview strategies pulled from the world of movies and theatre. With her BA in Speech and Performing Arts and a lifetime as a performer and director, she equips C2C clients to stand out and succeed.

She draws on her practical business experience spanning more than 20 years as she worked her own way up the career ladder. As a Partner at a global technology consulting firm, she had the opportunity to make hiring recommendations of both senior candidates and young professionals just beginning their careers.

A believer in life-long learning, in addition to her certification as an Interview Coach, she is certified as an Executive Coach, Job, and Career Development Coach, and Job and Career Transition Coach.

Terry stays current with conditions in major corporations through her consulting and speaking engagements.

Jill Clouse

Career Coach at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management

Jill Clouse is a Career Coach at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in the Career Management Center, where she has coached approximately 1,000 part-time MBA students. She loves counseling and advising clients on all aspects of the job search process, from job searching tactics to setting one’s career goals. Jill is excited to bring her passion for helping guide recent graduates through their first job search to C2C.

Jill received her MS in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University. Her Master’s Thesis was on Gender and MBA Career Planning. Jill received her BA in History, summa cum laude, with an emphasis in Secondary Education and a minor in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Prior to her role as a Career Coach at Northwestern, Jill was the assistant Director of the Career Management Center and the Assistant Director of Admissions at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

In addition to career coaching, Jill is a mom of two very active children. Jill is also active in her church and leads a mom’s group and a couple’s group along with her husband, Michael. She volunteers with the Art Appreciation program at her kids’ school and is usually reading a couple of different books at any given time. She recently completed a six year term on the Saint Mary’s College Alumnae Board of Directors and attends events in support of the College whenever she can. One of her favorite activities to her take her dog, Abby, for long walks.

Jerry Fuller

Certified Professional Leadership Coach

Jerry Fuller has helped college students successfully transition from college to career for more than 25 years. Most recently, as president of the James S. Kemper Foundation, he managed the Kemper Scholars Program, which provided scholarships, internships, and career coaching to liberal arts students interested in pursuing careers in the business world.

Previously, as executive director of Associated Colleges of Illinois, Jerry created and managed programs supporting career development centers on 26 college campuses throughout the state. Jerry is also experienced in the corporate world, having served in increasingly responsible roles in marketing, IT, and strategic planning at American Hospital Supply Corporation.

Jerry received his MBA from the University of Chicago and has a B.M.E. from Northwestern University. He completed post-graduate training in coaching at Harvard University and has completed the Coach Academy International Coach Certification Program. The National Career Service Providers Association has designated Jerry as a Certified Career Services Provider, and he is certified to administer both the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory.

Jerry and his wife Pat live in Evanston. They have three adult sons, all engineers.
